After much demand, Michael W Smith has finally recorded the worship album so many of us have wanted for so long. The album, titled Worship , was recorded live at the Carpenter's Home Church in Lakeland, Florida and includes a blend of praise and worship standards as well as some new worship songs.

One of Christian music's most prolific and diverse artists offers here a long awaited live worship album recorded before a crowd of 8,000 and which features a 23 voice choir including Amy Grant and Mark Shultz.

A crowd of nearly 8,000 people filled Carpenter's Home Church in Lakeland, Florida to take part in Michael's upcoming live praise and worship album.
Joining Michael on stage was a 23-voice choir comprised of fellow artists including Amy Grant, Ginny Owens, Mark Shultz, Chris Rice, Craig & Dean, Darwin Hobbs, Greg Long, Kelly Minter, Cindy Morgan, Erin O'Donnell, Out Of Eden, Shaun Groves, Geron & Becky Davis, Plus One's Nathan Walters and Jason Perry.

Michael W Smith said I thought it would be great to have artists who have a heart for worship come together and help me lead worship. It wasn't about solo performances. It wasn't even about me. It's not about show business or about the Christian music industry, It's much deeper than that.
