An elder in the Church of Scotland, Jamie Stuart has spent much of his last few years putting the Scriptures into the Scots vernacular. A Glasgow Bible is compiled from new material taken from the Auld Testament, plus the complete Glasgow Gospel, re-edited to maintain its fresh and lively idiom.
