The shop has been established for over twenty years and moved to its present site in January 1999 where we are able to provide much greater resources than our previous premises would allow. The bookshop is situated on The Promenade, right next to Leisure World.

We hold a good selection of Books for all ages, the shop is also noted for having a wide choice of cards and gifts to suit everyone’s needs. There is always a good selection of Music, DVD’s and Videos for customers to brows through. A popular area, particular with our many visitors from out of town is the second hand books section, though not too large there are regular additions to the stock there. We also stock some computer software items.

Our regular ordering system means that if we don’t have it - we will get it for you quickly, and if you don’t live locally or are just visiting then we can mail your needs direct to you wherever you might be.

This new web site www.crownbooks.co.uk/bridlington will give those who are unable to visit the shop in person, the opportunity to still support us, as they choose from an extensive range of material.

We always have special lines at reduced prices and can usually match or improve on offers made by any one else.
