Dovecote Bookshop Mission
Statement
To offer the residents and visitors to Epsom a place for the selection and purchase of Christian publications, music and associated products Retailing Services
Wide range of books, CDs, DVDs, videos, cards and gifts.
 Regular arrival of new stock in bulk Free Customer Catalogues showing new stock and Special Offers Special Orders Request Service with NO post and package charges On-line sales using our Crown Books website with over 25,000 items to surf visit www.crownbooks.co.uk (Please note - There is a post and package charge with this online facility) To benefit Dovecote, register with our URL: www.crownbooks.co.uk/epsom Church Accounts for ordering of Sunday School, daily Bible reading and other materials, with a 10% discount and 30 days credit Provision of Churches with selections of stock on a `Sale-or-Return` basis for special events, Alpha and other Courses, Mother & Toddler groups, etc. The Shop’s Manager is the only paid
employee. All other service in the Shop is by willing volunteers
from many local Churches. Without their hard work, the Shop could
not continue.
Dovecote was opened in 1996 by Fiona Castle. In 2004 it moved to a converted double garage beside the Epsom Methodist Church carpark nearer the centre of the town. It was re-opened there by the Hon. Chris Grayling,MP for Epsom & Ewell. Now,due to the large Church re-development scheme which has started,the Shop has moved again. It is now in the former vestibule of the Church and was re-opened there on June 21st,'07 by Lady Annabel Titman. (photo above). We thank all our friends, customers and local Churches for their support and custom over past years. We look forward to serving you even more effectively in future with our enhanced services. Monthly Prayer Meeting Each month on the last Tuesday 9.15 to 9.45 staff, volunteers, supporters and friends come to together for prayer and thanks giving and to seek God's guidance for the future of Dovecote.
